Welding Protection

Welding protective clothing and helmets are made from materials that resist burning and melting to protect workers from sparks, spatter, slag, and flame. Welding clothing is made from leather or flame-resistant fabrics to prevent sparks and slag from touching the skin. Protective welding helmets and goggles protect the eyes and filter ultraviolet (UV) light that can damage vision. Helmets also protect the head and face.
